Bibs, Bags, Blankets….. just an assortment of things here. If you see something you’d like, just send me a note or text.

Here we have a fuzzy bear called Ben (pattern from Funky Friends Factory) I’m including him here because I think he would make a great ‘welcome baby’ gift since he has an open belly and foot pads where text can be added. I can do almost anything now with my Cricut, in terms of text and I prefer this method now to embroidery, tho that remains an option.

The Lowly Worm
Wouldn’t he make a sweet gift to accompany one of richard Scary’s books? (with baby safe eyes, of course)

Baby Blankets and many other ideas

Simple personalized baby bib. My embroidery machine is down for the moment, so I made this with the help of my Cricut and infusible ink. You don’t really need to understand the process, but the result is pretty cool. Text (or images) are transferred right into the threads of the fabric using heat. The result is permanent. The only drawback for me is that the fabric used in the transfer must be 100% polyester, not my favourite for sewing and quilting. but Ive done a work-around here and I think it looks pretty good. The bib is lined with fusible fleece and otherwise structured with lovely quilt cotton from Connecting Threads, giving it nice body. Velcro closure.
